Orielton Aristocrat
Dark Bay Welsh B who started a dynasty of
Barkway ponies whose successes in the showring have been
phenomenal including four HOYS winners and three HOYS
champions. |

Beckside Little Toff
Being shown as a yearling by Mark Northern. Toff
was virtually unbeaten when shown in hand and has produced us
countless champions including Maisie Jayne HOYS first ridden
winner. He is still standing at stud and will be 20 years next
year. He has won the 128cm NPS Riding Pony Progeny Award. |

Barkway Tiptoes
Bay Mare by Orielton Aristocrat. A very
successful lead rein pony who was 6th HOYS and who has since
been kindly loaned back to the stud by her owner Mrs Jill
Stapleton to be bred from. She has bred us three outstanding
fillies in the past three years called Barkway Tiny Tears - sold
to Mrs Sonia Cooper to compete as a lead rein/first ridden for
her grandchildren, Barkway Tia Dalma - retained for Eloise
Pinnock to compete in lead rein/first ridden and this year's
foal Barkway Telltale to be again kept as a furture ridden
prospect for Eloise. |

| Barkway Polly Flinders
Bay filly who was Champion Foal at Ponies UK
and then went on to a very successful in-hand career before being a
top HOYS 128cm show pony. |

Spinningdale Birthday Surprise Bay
mare purchased by the stud as a two year old and
successfully shown in-hand including 1st and Champion The
Royal Show and Reserve for the Cuddy, and 1st and Champion
NPS and Supreme qualifying for the Cuddy at HOYS and
finishing 5th overall at HOYS. Sadly she died foaling
Barkway Birthday Gift who has subsequently died from
Leukemia. Berty left us Barkway Celebration (in foal for
2011 to Barkway Georgio).

Chestnut gelding by Teilwood Scorpio who was
virtually unbeaten in his day as a mountain and moorland lead rein
including winning the Lobster Pot at Ponies UK which was at the time
the biggest lead rein competition before lead rein mountain and
moorlands went to HOYS. |

Bay filly by Orielton Aristocrat - very successfully
shown as a youngster by Mark Northern and sold to Mr and Mrs Roper-Caldbeck
as a future broodmare. |

Barkway ArbennigBay filly by Orielton
Aristocrat - a top in-hand Welsh B mare who was Reserve
Champion B mare at the Royal Welsh and won four bronze
medals in a long and successful showing career.

Top show pony first ridden who qualified for RIHS and
HOYS before retiring as a broodmare - she sadly died at stud before
she managed to produce any foals. |

Welsh B liver chestnut mare. Our first foal
and the mother of Barkway Symphony who has produced us many champion
ridden ponies. |

Pumphill Bettany
Kindly loaned to us by David Hinde of the Pumphill
Stud - Biscuit started Charlie off in the ring and took him twice to
the RIHS before going back to stud. |

Colne Hornbeam and
Charlie Pinnock - a wonderful pony who had only a short ridden
career before becoming incurably ill. He retired from ridden
classes at just four and then was the best foal nanny for many years
before we lost him last year. |

Wild Jasmin at HOYS where she was placed 7th, 6th and 9th the three
years she qualified. |
